Antler Reishi Living Sculpture! Ganoderma multipileum
This bag contains sterilized sawdust that has been colonized by living mycelium of antler reishi. This white, fluffy substance lives on the sawdust and is the “root” of the fungus that is responsible for forming the mushroom fruits. The white filter on the bag keeps out contamination, allowing the mushroom to thrive.
Antler reishi produces beautiful, multicolored and branched fruits inside of the sealed bag. The mushrooms require high levels of carbon dioxide to form, so the bag needs to stay sealed and closed until harvest.
Leave the intact bag at room temperature. The mushroom needs some light. Mushrooms will start out white at first and grow several inches over the first month or so. The colors will start to change to beautiful, intermingled yellows and reds and the antlers will continue to grow and branch until they are several inches long and fully red.
