Dry mix to make up agar. Simply dissolve 50g in 1000ml water or 25g in 500ml water. Pressure cook at 15PSI for 45 minutes.
Contains 100g of mix, which makes 2 liters of agar, which is enough to pour 80 petri dishes. This is the mix we use for our agar to promote healthy, vigorous growth.
Choose between Malt Extract Yeast Agar (MEYA; what we use) and Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA). Malt Extract Yeast Agar (MEYA) is available with antibiotics for $5 extra.
